THANK YOU SPONSORS!

You are invited to JOIN ME in donating to JDRF as part of the annual Hope Ball fundraising effort!

Many of you know that Madeline has been an avid volunteer and fundraiser for JDRF, but you may not know that this is her eighth and final year serving as a Youth Ambassador at the Hope Ball.  You can see here on this page at her first ball with her proud dad!

One component of the Hope Ball is the "Fund-a-Cure" portion, where all donations earmarked for this -- either in advance through a page like this or at the Hope Ball live auction -- go directly to funding research.

In my opinion, research is truly at the heart of JDRF's impact.  Because of research to better understand Type-1 diabetes, a cure is coming closer, and in the meantime, tools to help better manage diabetes are coming to market because of JDRF.

In fact, Madeline will begin using the Medtronic 670G insulin pump and glucose monitor "closed loop" system THIS SPRING.  This major advance lessens some of the burden of all that she has to do for diabetes management, and we hope it will afford her a safer smoother transition to college in the fall!

So consider joining me in honoring Madeline's last year as a Youth Ambassador by helping to fund critical diabetes research through JDRF!

JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Our mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications. To accomplish this, JDRF has invested $2 billion in research funding since our inception. We are an organization built on a grassroots model of people connecting in their local communities, collaborating regionally for efficiency and broader fundraising impact, and uniting on a national stage to pool resources, passion, and energy. We collaborate with academic institutions, policymakers, and corporate and industry partners to develop and deliver a pipeline of innovative therapies to people living with T1D. Our staff and volunteers in more than 100 locations throughout the United States and our six international affiliates are dedicated to advocacy, community engagement and our vision of a world without T1D. For more information, please visit jdrf.org or follow us on Twitter: @JDRF.

Fund A Cure is an opportunity to make an impact on the lives of people living with T1D and their loved ones through a 100% tax-deductible donation, which will accelerate life-changing research.
